Calendar connection terms

Updated October 13, 2026. These terms describe the optional Google Calendar connection. Your StudioSprout website service agreement remains separate.

Your authorization

Connect only a Google account you own or are authorized to use. By approving the Google permission request, you authorize StudioSprout to create a StudioSprout Bookings calendar and manage events for your confirmed studio appointments in that calendar. Google’s own terms also apply to your Google account and calendar.

One-way appointment syncing

Confirmed website and manually entered appointments sync to Google. Pending requests do not. Future confirmed appointments are added when you connect. Rescheduling updates an event; cancellation removes it. Appointments without an exact time and duration need to be completed in StudioSprout before syncing.

StudioSprout is the source for appointment details. Editing, moving or deleting a Google event does not change StudioSprout or website availability. A later sync can replace edits made to an event in Google. The connection does not read personal-calendar availability or prevent conflicts with appointments entered only in Google.

Checking your schedule

Review the appointment’s time zone, duration and location in StudioSprout. Google updates may be delayed by connection or provider issues. The editor shows pending updates and reconnect instructions. A failed Google update does not cancel a saved StudioSprout appointment or its booking emails. Keep using StudioSprout to review and manage bookings while a sync is delayed.

Disconnecting

You can stop the connection from Settings → Google Calendar → Disconnect or remove StudioSprout’s access in your Google account. The calendar and existing events stay in Google until you remove them there. Google may revoke the app’s access across other StudioSprout studios connected to that same Google account; those studios can reconnect.
